Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid’s struggles persisted as they were held to a frustrating 1–1 draw by Real Mallorca. Julián Álvarez missed a crucial penalty that could have secured all three points, forcing Atlético to settle for just one. With only six points from five games, Diego Simeone’s side has dropped to 12th place in the standings.
