Nepal, India and Pakistan have been drawn in the same group in the Asia Cup women’s cricket to be held in Sri Lanka from July 4 to 13.
Eight groups are participating in the tournament to be held in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. In which Nepal, India, Pakistan and UAE are in group A, while Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand are in group insurance. Previously, 7 countries participated in the Asia Cup Women’s Cricket held in 2022.
Earlier on February 4, in the second semi-final match of the ACC Women’s Premier Cup 2024, the home team lost to Malaysia by 4 wickets and lost the opportunity to play in the Asia Cup. But ACC has given Nepal a chance by forming 8 teams to play in the Asia Cup.
Nepal will play their first match against Pakistan on July 4.
